Today during literacy centers, I introduced some new items that we were fortunate enough to purchase with some of the HEB Award money for our grade level. It was so exciting using our new CD Listening center! The students practiced all of the color songs by reading the color song books, while singing and listening to the songs. The students were able to use various language arts learning center kits. Some students worked on initial and final sounds and others worked on reading comprehension. We also used Raz-Kids.com and Starfall.com on the computers and practiced our weekly word family using the word family pocket chart. Learning can be so much fun!
