Celebrating the 100th Day of School

Can you believe we've been in school for 100 days? We celebrated on Friday all day long! We started with the prompt "I wish I had 100 ___ because..." Then during centers we predicted if we flipped a coin 100 times, how many times would it land on heads and how many times would it land on tails. Then we did it! Students wrote down 100 words. We weighed and compared everyone's bags of 100 items. We found out which ones weighed more and which weighed less. We found out who could write their name the most in 100 seconds. We also made really cool glasses that said 100! During PAT time, we did 100 exercises. Yes, 100! Later we got together to celebrate with our buddies. We predicted how many times we had to roll a dice before the total equalled 100. Some students were very close. What a fun, exhausting day! Now we will count down until the last day of school. Only 75 more days left of school!
