After beginning the week with me, the students rotated to Mrs. Lugo's room to learn about Christmas. They made reindeer puppets. Then, on Wednesday, they went to Mrs. McLendon's room to learn about Kwanzaa. There they made Kinaras and unity cups. Finally, on Thursday, they visited Mrs. Bailey's room and learned about Las Posadas. They heard stories and created their own candles. We really enjoyed having this opportunity to rotate among the rooms and learn about the different winter holidays. We will learn more about the holidays next week when we participate in the Arctic Express on Tuesday.
