After studying wood in science, we continued our unit of study with paper. Throughout the week we did many experiments with different kinds of paper including folding, writing, and putting paper in water. After reviewing properties of what makes paper easy/hard to fold, the students created paper hats with their 4th grade buddies. Students were also given a Folding Fun packet to take home and try creating different paper creations.
As part of their homework this week, students also brought in different paper samples.
