Today we returned to the library and checked out new books. I was so proud of all of the students for bringing back their books on time! How responsible!
Liz, Willa's Mom, introduced us to yoga during PAT (Physical Activity Time). We learned a few basic poses and are excited to learn more next week. We are still trying to get some towels donated to our class so that we can do yoga outside. Please let me know if you can help out with this.
In science today, we went to the science lab! The students used rubber bands and paper clips to sink their pieces of wood. They added one paper clip at a time and then tested their piece of wood in the water. When we found how many paper clips it took, we returned to our classroom to record our findings. Some students used pine and other used plywood. Which do you think needed more paper clips to make it sink?
