The first grade classes boarded busses and headed downtown to the Austin Museum of Art. We had so much fun in the creation room. Students made pop up playground, used the giant tangrams on the magnetic wall, watch an art video, and looked at interesting art books. Then, we went to see the work on display. It was titled "America Starts Here." The students were very insiteful and enjoyed learning about each work of art. Finally, we headed to shoal creek and had a picnic lunch and played on the playground. We really enjoyed our last field trip of the year!
