During Math, we played Five in a Row. With a partner, students took turns rolling two dice and finding their sum. Then, they would look on their game board to see if they had that answer. If they did, they covered it with a marker. The goal was to cover up Five in a Row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Some students were so quick, they had time to try to cover their entire board. We will spend more time on subtraction and story problems next week.
Today, Emma's Mom was our guest reader. We really enjoyed listening to her read two books to us. We were glad to learn about Rosh Hashana with Sammy the Spider! Thanks for reading to us!
