This week, our scientist taught us that it is possible to see sound. She pulled some saran wrap tight across a bowl. Then she poured some rice on top of the saran wrap. She held a cookie sheet close to the bowl, but not touching it. Then, as she hit the sheet with her spoon, we all saw the rice jump. Wow! Sound can really make you jump!
