Scientist of the Week-Bottle Xylophone
This week our scientist used glasses, water, and food coloring to create a xylophone. She showed us how to pour different amounts of water into each glass and add food coloring so that we could see the different levels of water. Then, she used a wooden spoon and a metal spoon to demonstrate how each glass made a different sound. She explained that the more water in a glass, the less room it had to vibrate.
