Fridays during DEAR time (Drop Everything and Read time) is "free choice" Friday! If students have finished their work during the week, they can choose any book to read and sit anywhere they want to! Here is a picture of several students (and a Mom, too) reading under the table.
During Buddies today, they worked together on counting money. Some students played money bingo, others matched up amounts with money puzzles, and finally some students used coins to solve money story problems.
