Spooky Math Problems & the H Family

In math, the students used foam Halloween pieces to create a math problem. Some students made addition problems and others wrote subtraction problems. After writing down their story problems in their notebooks, students created background scenes with construction paper crayons. Then, on Friday students glued their pieces down, rewrote their math problems on index cards, and wrote the answer in a number equation on the back. These are hanging up in our hallway. Stop on by and check out their hard work.

This week in Shared Reading we are working on the “H” family. We met Shelly (sh), Theo (th), Charlie (ch), and Whitney (wh). Please practice these sounds at home.
