Scientist of the Week- Seeing Sound

Our scientist of the week taught us how we could actually see sound. She used rice, a spoon, a pan, a bowl, and some plastic wrap. She poured rice onto the bowl covered with plastic wrap. Then, she put the pan near the bowl, but not touching it. When she banged on the pan with her spoon, you could see the rice jump into the air. Wow!
