Every since the first day of school when I mentioned that we would have Organism Day in May, the students have been looking forward to it. To end our unit on organsims, each students was allowed to bring in an organism- anything living. If they weren't able to bring it to school, they could bring in a photo or draw a picture. We had quite an assortment of organisms! Some students brought in hermit crabs, a jar full of organisms you can find in a garden, aquatic frogs, a hamster, and hairless rats.
