100th Day of School!

Today we celebrated the 100th day of school! We began the day with 100 exercises (10 sets of 10) and we also counted to 100 by 2's, 5's, and 10's. For prompt writing we answered "I wish I had 100 ____ because." Then, we read a 100th day story. Next, it was time for some 100 day centers. We weighed and compared baggies with 100 objects, we made pictures by stamping 100 finger prints, we flipped a coin 100 times and recorded how many times it landed heads up and tails up, and we walked around the room and wrote down 100 words. Later, we predicted where we would end up if we walked for 100 steps down the hall. Then, we walked for 100 steps and saw how far that we walked. We also wrote our names for 100 seconds and counted how many times we wrote our name. At the end of the day we got stickers that reminded us we are 100 days smarter! We also made special 100 day fortune tellers. Whew! What a fun day!
