Clay Beads

During our unit on Pebbles, Sand, and Silt, we learned that clay is actually made up of tiny pieces of rock. We experimented with clay and observed differences with clay left in water and clay left in an empty vial. We rolled clay into balls and made beads. Then, the next day we painted our beads. Tomorrow, we will string them onto ribbon to make necklaces.
