Spooky Story Problems

We worked hard creating spooky story problems for Halloween. First, we talked about setting and we each drew a Halloween setting on a big sheet of black paper. Next, we choose some spooky characters and glued them onto the setting. Then, we wrote a rough draft of an addition or subtraction problem using those characters. Finally, we used special markers and wrote our final versions. Ms. Shapiro hung them up in the hallway for everyone to read!
