Last week, each table began watering their own table pet. We have a pig, chick, frog, and a monkey. By Monday, each one was growing hair (don't worry, it's just grass). Amber's Mom also brought us a Venus Flytrap. We think this will help us get rid of those pesky flies that keep buzzing around! We will need to check out some books about them from the library. We also added a Galileo thermometer to our science center. We learned how to read it and the children are so excited when one of the balls drops down and they read the temperature to the class. Our ant farm is still there, too. I'm sure we'll add even more exciting items to our science center soon. Stop by and check everything out!
